Newcastle Panthers Volleyball Club

We are one of the most successful and fastest growing volleyball clubs in the North East.

Our men’s 1st team won the top flight division of the Northern Counties Volleyball League 12 times in the last 14 years. Our 2nd men’s team won promotion in 2020 and have continued to gain positions in the top half of the division. Our men’s 3rd development team have also consistently performed and have taken top spot this season. Our women’s 1st team has won the ladies division every year for the past 7 seasons, with Development team Jets finishing a creditable 3rd this year with 3rd team Pinks ending up in the bottom half of the table.

We are a Volleyball England accredited club (Volley 2) with several experienced and qualified coaches. Our coaching team is also involved with Team Sunderland national league teams, which play in Men’s Super League and Women’s Division 1.

We have junior and senior players who currently play or played at a county and national level. We continue to feed players through to Team Sunderland and have several of our juniors competing in Inter-Regional squads.

Whether you just want to train, meet people or compete at a higher level there’s something for everybody at Newcastle Volleyball Club. We are open to both males and females, all ages and abilities, and catering for people with disabilities – everyone is welcome.
